Admission is free.

Summer time opening hours: Monday to Sun 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Winter time opening hours: Wednesday to Sun 11:00 - 16:00.
Also open on Mondays and Tuesdays during school holidays.

Wheelchair-friendly, adapted facilities available.

Toilets available (50 cent coin or pay with QR code in the information center).

Dogs are not allowed inside. Must be kept on a leash in the memorial garden.

During school holidays, we organize public tours on Tuesday afternoons, lasting approximately 90 minutes. For dates, please check our Visit page in the menu.

Our Information Centre runs entirely on the dedication of more than 120 enthusiastic volunteers. Together, we ensure that the memories and stories of the Holten Canadian War Cemetery remain alive, sharing them both in person and online with visitors, relatives, and younger generations. Want to make a difference? New volunteers are welcome to join us.

'Vector of Memory' marks Canadian Trail Overijssel

To the right of the entrance to the information center is the “Vector of Memory”. This marks that the Holten Canadian Cemetery and the information center are part of the Canadian Trail Overijssel, part of the Liberation Route Europe. More than 10,000 km of walking trails leading past museums, monuments, memorial sites, and other locations throughout Europe that commemorate the final phase of World War II.
