This information center runs entirely on more than 120 volunteers and a non-profit organization with ANBI status. With the support of cooperation partners, sponsors and many friends, we can do this great work. All support is welcome!
Keeping the memories of the Second World War, the liberation and, above all, of our liberators alive is the main goal of the information center next to the Canadian Cemetery in Holten. It is a place of reflection, where you can use stories, images and exhibitions to discover what lies behind the 1,394 graves in the cemetery. What we share here with a wide audience (tens of thousands of visitors per year) is a unique wealth of information, objects and stories. To keep access to the information center accessible, it is free. We are happy with the free donations and positive appreciation we receive from many visitors. For guided tours, free and customized, we ask for a small contribution.
We need resources to operate the information center and maintain the building. Fortunately, we can count on the support of friends and sponsors for that. With the registration form, you can indicate how you want to support us as a friend or sponsor.
We list cooperation partners and sponsors with a logo on this website. We cordially invite them to visit and/or tour and keep customers informed with an e-mail newsletter.
